Colleen + Allen = extreme COOLNESS

Mark and I had a BLAST with Colleen and Allen last week for the engagement session. The sun was pretty bright, but the Taco Bell break seemed to make everything ok. These guys were so great to work with, as we played with lighting and vintage furniture. Colleen and Allen, I hope you guys like the results, we had so many amazing pictures it was hard picking a few for your 'teaser'!!! Whitni + Mike = FABULOUS

Last week was Whitni + Mike's wedding day. I don't think I've seen a groom have a more difficult time standing still and looking thoughtful than Mike... he just couldn't stop laughing and smiling with excitement, and I love that. Vegas - Post Wedding Fashion Shoot

We've been out of the office for the past week while in Vegas for the WPPI Convention where we learned ALOT of great new techniques for shooting and discovered some awesome new product. Thanks to Scarlett Lillian for setting up a FABULOUS Post Wedding Fashion Shoot for us. It was a cold, rainy night but we had so much fun playing with some new lights on the streets of Vegas. And actually, it's a great example of how rain can work to your advantage in photographs... the wet streets made for some rockin' reflections! A Post Wedding Fashion Shoot is a great way to get a few more portraits of you in your wedding dress!! Hope you enjoy looking at the images as much as we enjoyed making them!!!

"A Night of Burnin' Love"

Earlier this week, Mark and I had the opportunity to step outside the wedding arena and shoot a benefit for the Coalition of Pulmonary Fibrosis in honor of Dennis Linde a legendary songwriter in country music. The event took place at the Musician's Hall of Fame and was hosted by James Marsden (think "27 Dresses" girls!), a cousin of Jesse's whose wedding we will be shooting this October!

Many wonderful musicians, including Rascal Flatts, Montgomery Gentry and Mark Chestnut, attended the event and covered the hits of Linde. A wonderful time was had by the great turn out of attendees, and I'm sure the silent auction was a big hit. Jesse and Sabine, we're looking forward to October to re-unite with your family! We had a blast!

Alittle over a week ago we met up with Rebecca and Brett for their engagement session. It was a chilly day but these guys grinned and smiled through the cold weather, even when we asked them to sit over a water fountain that had turned into ice! The Nashville Scene - Bridal Brunch

Back in November, we met up with Monica in Old Hickory to shoot her bridal portrait session. Travis + Emma = True Love

This fall we had the honor to shoot our friends Travis and Emma. These two are totally hilarious and we had alot of fun walking on walls and trying to balance on stone piers. We all met out at Percy Warner Park, and I'm sure we laughed just as much as we worked! I love when that happens. Plus, it's always fun to shoot another photographer (Emma is great!). Whitni + Michael = AMAZING engagement session

The week of Christmas we met up with Whitni and Michael for their engagement session. While driving from one location to another, Mark and I pulled the car off to the side of the road and asked our willing couple to run up a hill so we could shoot them with the amazing blue sky in the background. The BEAUTIFUL Jessica...

A few months ago we met Jessica out at Percy Warner Park to photograph her bridal portraits. We had alot of fun climbing on walls and dealing with the wind, both worked to our advantage I think! The images from this shoot are some of my favorites, Jessica was so easy to work with and was a natural in front of the camera. Hope you enjoy them!

Celia and Randall - Engagement Session

This past Sunday we ventured downtown with Celia and Randall for a fun engagement session. These guys were so great to work with because they were both so quick to smile and laugh with each other. Not to mention that they were real troopers in the chilly weather as Mark and I made them walk around every block near Broadway! We're looking forward to the big day in September, it's going to be beautiful!

Lara and David, Arezzo, Italy

Last month, Mark and I had a blast traveling to Arezzo, Italy just south of Florence to capture the love of Lara and David. Arezzo is an amazing Tuscan village, and the architecture of the 15th century church is stunning. Mark and I worked through the Italian language without much problem and had an amazing day.
